My wife and I are expecting a child. We have a rather good mattress, the Casper mattress, I think. But while good, it is a normal mattress. I mean, it’s just mattress. Aren’t there mattresses designed specifically for pregnant women?
I don’t think there’s a reason for worrying. If people could only successfully have kids in case they had a special mattress, humanity would’ve died out very soon. A typical good mattress (which the Casper Mattress certainly is) should be more than enough.
If you wife is a back sleeper or even a side sleeper, I don’t see any problems. Even if she’s a stomach sleeper, you still don’t need a specially designed mattress. A special pillow should be enough for you. Something like the Leachco Snoogle Original Total Body Pillow would work perfectly although it’s better suited for side sleepers. However, the Mommy Pillow is the ideal choice for stomach sleepers, even though the Leachco pillow is still better.
Make sure to remember that posture is important as well.
Of course, it’s not a pillow you want. You’ve said as much. But if your concern is only about the mattress, you already have a good match. So please, don’t worry. Good luck!
